Hey it’s the first Thursday of the month, which means I get to shout out an artist that I think you should know about! This month’s artist has a special place in my heart — she’s an Ivy League degree’d rapper (UPENN) producer, and singer who flexes hard on wax about her Black Girl Magic. I’d heard her music before thanks to my manager putting me on, but it wasn’t until I had the opportunity to  open for her last Saturday that I fully understood how cool she is. All that said, I’d like to shout out the incredible Ivy Sole — her newest project will be dropping on April 12th but until then listen to some of the magic on her Soundcloud page including some jams from the group she’s in called INDIGOLD here.
