…has made me feel like [I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be]. I’ve had quite a few moments like that over the past year, so I guess I should’ve been expecting another one when I first met up with NBMG head honcho, KC, in January.
FIRST, the theme this year at Cornell for a special group of professors [known as the Society of the Humanities] from across the country who teach courses on different topics annually is what else — sound [I know a little something about that].
SECOND, this year a professor in the Cornell Music Department offered a course on video games AND music for the first and last time, which I of course took, and loved [random, right?].
THIRD, I somehow ended up meeting the director of a project on video game development, so I’m currently producing all music and sound effects for two sustainability video games through the National Science Foundation, in addition to the game I already produced for last semester [that’s God right there].
LAST, but not least, I recently encountered NMBG [NuBlack Music Group], a gang of musically talented Cornellians who have individually been making music but recently come together to form a consortium of like-minded individuals. I’m so honored to work with the crew and I’ve already been working closely with them on my newest project [M’other Brain] hopefully due out in April. Check ’em out!
